
Pepper price showed a declining trend across the origins. The decline of pepper prices noticed with the start of the harvesting season in India, which is now reaching towards the peak harvest. Initial harvest in Vietnam has also started. In India, the market was active as material from new crop has arrived in the market. Local price decreased from INR 680 per Kg last week to INR 620 this week for the MG-1 in Kochi. On an average pepper price in India decreased by 9%. Significant decrease was also recorded in Sri Lanka by 8%
